WingZ, I have found it:

It's for FS2004 and FSX, and I'm really interested in some experiences, particularly regarding the sounds - do they have the backbone-freezing bass of a DB engine, as I know it from the 2000 ILA show with a Bf 109, and as it can be heard here:

@kiwiflyer: get inspirated by this!

I've also done the entire route and bombing run on FS9 and yes the scenery is "lacking". To simulate moonlight i kept the time at dusk and navigated using the same methods keeping below 100ft all the way there and back.

Some of those simmers who "crow" about GPS should try it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I presume you've seen the film?

And then you had it easy. Remember, there was no lights, everything was darkned mandatory. They did a hell of a job.

Reenactment with a DC4

I didn't obey that the CASA-licence-built He 111 has actually RR Merlin engines. But they sound surprising similar to a DB.

Hear here from 1:34 to 1:41:

If Virtavia sounded at least similar, that would be nice...
