Try running FSX as an administrator...in fact, set up a shortcut on the desktop tht always runs it as admin. What's the full path you have FSX installed in?

I installed FSX in C:\Microsft Games\FSX

I'll try and run as administrator.

I've tried everything, from my own thoughts to other flight sim forums' suggestions, but nothing has worked, so I've just done a fresh re-install of my Windows 7 Ultimate (Still a 32-bit system) and see if corrupted and/or infected files might be causing this.

You'll get a CTD at boot up if you do not have the proper Microsoft Visuals C++ 2005 and 2005 w/sp1. There was a guy over in one of the other flightsim forums who decided to get rid of his 2005 and 2008 Redistributables and FSX failed to start up after he did that. It is installed with FSX and Acceleration (except SP1 didn't make it to the Acceleration DVD as they released Accleration too soon. But, according to NickN, it is required. You didn't provide a crash report so can't tell you if you have everything installed properly. If you want, you can download and install AppCrashView - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/app_crash_view.html and copy and paste your crash report here.

Best regards,

Jim
