February 6, 201313 yr Some days the engines start, some days the left one doesn't, some days the right one...I'm lost
February 6, 201313 yr Find a default two engine plane, start the engines withe Ctl-E, then save the plane with engines running as the default start up plane. After you start FSX with the new two engine( or 4 engine) default aircraft, switch to the J41. It will load with both engines running. tc
February 6, 201313 yr Or you can load the default C172 and make sure the engines are running and there is fuel in both tanks then load the aircraft u wanna fly. Should work then. February 7, 201313 yr Ensure the Start locks are actually engaged... Sometimes it takes a bit for the hydraulics to bleed off and before that happens it may look like the locks are engaged.

February 7, 201313 yr The most common issue I've seen is that some will switch the unfeather pumps on, but don't wait long enough for the props to unfeather. You should switch to an external view of the aircraft and visually verify that the props are not feathered. So pull the power lever into reverse, activate the unfeather pump, check outside that the props are unfeathered, then push the power levers back to idle. The props have to be on lock before you go back to idle. Jim Shield Cybersecurity Specialist
February 8, 201313 yr I'm giving up for now. I'll fly other planes. JS41 is being to me the most unfriendly plane I ever flew I had to work at this one as well, but as I have said before... I bought the 737 and JS4100 at the same time... and I am so happy with the JS4100 I have yet to go back to the 737 ... Stick with it .. once you get the hang of it you will find it a great plane to fly.
