February 9, 201313 yr When i load a plane up at a gate or runway it automatically starts to accelerate and wont stop... no AP is on and does it automatically. It started doing this after I set the throttle on my Saitek Throttle Quadrant to the Throttle Axis in settings. How do i fix?
February 9, 201313 yr What aircraft are you using? How much thrust is being automatically demanded? Ensure that the throttle is fully closed at the beginning of each flight, as FSX may remember its most-recent setting, which could be takeoff thrust if you had been performing test flights. Try maximizing throttle axis sensitivity. At lower sensitivities, the closed throttle position seems to demand a moderate amount of thrust instead of idle thrust (as it should) on some aircraft, thus causing acceleration.
February 9, 201313 yr Sounds like your default flight is set with throttles fully forward. Delete it in your my documents\flight sim folder and create a new default flight, making sure your throttle is at 0% and parking brakes are set.
February 10, 201313 yr F1 cuts the throttle. Make a new default flight using the Cessna 172. George T
February 10, 201313 yr What plane is it. Some airplanes when they start up, have an initial thrust. ex. aerosoft DHC-6 Ryan L.
