February 10, 201313 yr A community contribution by Houston. Based on the description, I would guess this is the Port of Anchorage. Enjoy. Thank you. February 10, 201313 yr Wondered about the name for the AotD, still do. Maybe I have a clue? Much like running in track, where when you meet "the wall" you just have to fight through it. Such was my trip heading south towards the port, as shown by the pics. Snagged the AotD and figured I'd head back north to see if the bluenose limbo struck again. And there it was! Checked my hardware temp to make sure the video card wasn't going haywire (it's about a year old) and that wasn't the issue. I don't update video drivers unless I HAVE TO, so that shouldn't be an issue. Guess it's just a Flight thingy, like the pink road? I could make the blue disappear with a slight change of viewing angle, but you can see other graphical remnants that appear when I did that.
February 10, 201313 yr :LMAO: I love it, Lance. We should make scenery like that deliberately and drive people wild. Give them something to talk about, anyway. Best regards. Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
February 10, 201313 yr I really didn't know what was going to happen when the multi-hued thingy popped up, but I just figured I'd fly into it and see what happened. It's not like I haven't crashed a couple of times in Flight... I went back in and did a free flight back along some of the same course and didn't see any anomalies, so maybe it's a new way to spice up the AotD?
February 11, 201313 yr As usual, the scenery guys went overboard. Too much detail. Best regards. Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
February 11, 201313 yr Never can have too much detail Luis, love it. First I HAD to fly under the bridge. Those things are big and again the detail is just amazing! Steve
February 17, 201313 yr What is really fun is to fly at full speed in the RV directly underneath the bases of these monsters. Challenging but rewarding when you can go through the lot of 'em.
