February 17, 201313 yr Hi Hope I am in the right forum. I have the saitek X52, All of a sudden with in FS9 I have crazy rudder and plane actions. I cant seem to calibrate it while in FS9. The planes jerk all over and veer every which way. When I attempt to calibrate from within the little cross hair is jumping all over the box so wont center. Any ideas as to how I might correct this? I thought upgrading the driver would help. But did not help. I tried contacting Saitek and when they decided to get back to me gave me an answer that I could not begin to comprehend. Thank you in advance for any help.
February 17, 201313 yr Commercial Member Oh man, I forgot what forum I was looking at, and thought you complaining about a controller on VATSIM! Can you post a little information for us? 1. Can you post the answer Saitek gave you? 2. What's the last thing you did before it started doing this (I'm sure you've thought of that too, but it would be nice for us to know as well, just to speed things up). 3. How long have you had / used this controller? 4. Do you have another controller you can use instead, to rule out software? You may have had something go wrong inside the controller, which will require you returning it to Saitek, but we're not there yet. February 18, 201313 yr Author Thanks for the reply my info is sketchy..... #1 I deleted it because I truly could not grasp the message, the only thing I did understand was that the problem was within the game itself. #2 I truly dont remember its bee awhile............... #3 I have had this for a long time ( good couple if years) #4 no other controler. I am tempted to just buy a new one for the heck of it and seeing how it works.
February 18, 201313 yr Check all of your wiring connections - USB and power. Test. If the problem still exists disconnect the controller(s) - throttle and stick and test. If the problem goes away while the controller is disconnected then you may have a internal to the Saitek wiring fault. I had a issue some time ago related to a wire in the stick being worn and grounding out. I repaired that and all returned to normal. If your aircraft still behaves erratically with the set up disconnected then I would suggest clearing your FSUIPC settings then rebuilding your FS9.cfg file and seeing if that doesn't help. February 19, 201313 yr I recently had similar effects shortly before one of the USB ports of my PC got defunct. I simply connected the controller to another USB port and all was o.k. Harald Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
