If this has happened to you and found the problem I would love to know what the cure is.......I tried 4 different AAL packages going back to 2010 all with the same result....has to be a bad paint but I don't know which one....if you do please respond.....thanks for all replies

Hi and thanks to all responders..............I installed FSX gold to my new computer and loaded up Dream Team JFK and Imagine sim KLGA...I then took a flight and noted that in patches the default scenery was flashing through....For JFK when I was high enough all you saw was the Dream Team scenery for KLGA you still saw the broken up runway taxi ways and gates..........any help to get this right would be much appreciated.... Hi just installed FSX once again....I have tried a couple of times in past and frustration over problems sent me scurrying back to FS9....so like the masochist that I am I am back again determined to get it running like so many on the boards say they do......I upgraded my computer and am running an i7 4770k with 16 Ram and a GTX 780 ti video card....I am running FSX on an SSD ....I am running windows 7 and I believe DTX 11.....OK now for the problems 1. I tried landing at default KLGA runways and taxi ways are flashing like it has elevation problems....... 2. Spot view....I love flying outside the plane and panning around but when I go into the outside view its like your smack up against the tail when you zoom out it stretches the plane out and the view is still not right....FS9 is perfect and I don't see why this is not same any suggestions on either problem will be greatly appreciated. Hey Bert been there and done that still looks off.......that said I also posted that while flying the picture tends to jerk......your flying smooth then it will jerk (frame rate gets hit) for a split second and then it rights itself again then it will jerk again...this ever happen to you or anyone else reading this.........

Dreadnought I run a Nvidia GTX 780 Ti with 3 gb mem.................my cpu is watercooled.... Voodoo How do you set the zoom setting to 100? Where do you find this? Also what is EZdok? Lastly I notice now (depending on how graphic intensive the scenery is) that I am running a fairly smooth 30FPS (This is what I have it set at) but I am now getting jerks...it would run fine for a few seconds jerk then run again.....Any clues on this????? I may have to go back to FS9 (this is getting rediculous and not fun) plus I have more sceneries there. But if I do the sad part is that I wasted a lot of cash in this hi end rig for FSX Thanks for your help

Wow FS9 is so much easier.....anyway with enough uninstalls and reinstalls I finally with the help of the configure guide got rid of the ground rolls....I still get some stutters and very bad Frame rates even though I am not at all max sliders. I also notice some flashing in ground scenery (FSDT KDFW) when I fly over it. I also notice now when I am outside the plane that it is weirdly stretched like your looking at it through a glass. Does this make sense to anyone?

Hey Bert done all that ....my main problem is the ground roll when panning......most annoying.......

Thanks for responses guys.....Firehawk I read your guide and applied what you wrote....Still getting bad ground roll when outside panning. Inside cockpit I can pan around no problem....Another problem I seem to have is frame rates I noticed from reading Firehawks guide that people are getting 80-100 even more fps but I got 42-58 at best with no add-ons...with a couple of test FSDream team airports KFLL flying a default 737 was getting 27 FPS...with my high end rig should I not be getting a lot more? Another noticeable problem when flying outside plane is graphic flashing......maybe this stuff is over my head. I have no problems with FS9 Voodoo...as I was saying I have a high end rig I7 4770k, 16gb Ram 1800 GTX 780 TI I think with 3 gb ...my cpu is clocked up as far as I can go 4.2.......I thought this setup would run full detail from the start........ There should be no reason why I cant this to work.......... Anyways happy fourth....mine is raining out

Thanks for your suggestions but Firehawk I tweaked the cfg cause it says to do it in the guide pages 10-12.....Page 9 deals with install and Nvidia Inspector......unfortunately I could not access the link where people gave their inspector values....I also tried the DX10 suggestions cause I read where a lot of people like it.......One thing I did notice was that the ground rolling started after I installed sp1.................My gosh I would have thought that the problems would arise from third party software not from virgin install..........I guess I have that to look forward to as well........ Bert: I changed Vsynch to always on...... So far nothing has helped with the ground rolls when outside panning......But guys please hang in there with me to help get it corrected.....This is very complicated stuff for a game/sim.............................. Firehawk I just went back to the FSX forums with clearer eyes then I had yesterday and found your config guide on the right side of the page. It is different then the install guide I was following....I will read through that and try again and let you know what happens.....

Hi I could use some help.......So I finally decided to jump into FSX from FS9 (still use it). Bought the huge new hardware 780 ti I7 4770 clocked to 4.2 16 gig 1800 ram etc so that I can have the power to run fsx......I read the avsim guide for installing and tweaking and tried following as instructed. I installed the game, ran it, shut it down installed SP1 ran it again shut it down installed sp2 and ran it again. I tweaked the cfg. Ran inspector....however the new inspector does not give me the same tweak values as an older version.....Anyway did what I could and started up the unit pretty virgin and started flying....now I like to view outside the plane and pan around but when I do this the video showing the ground tends to roll and shake as I Pan (not nice at all)....Has this happened to anyone else out there? BTW tried uninstalling and reinstalling same problem.....Thanks for all help...Happy fourth..................

Sadly I spoke to soon the problem has once again reared its ugly head..........so its not AI

So I went and redid all my AI and the problem seemed to clear up..................Plus also I am now getting landings from my AI where I was not before.....................

Hi Just installed FS9 on a new computer, installed my aircraft, AI, and sceneries....I just noticed that when I pan around the airport from outside the aircraft that I can see some AI aircraft turn upside down and unravel into weird shapes just to snap back to normal when I pan in a different direction. I thought this was just AI till I saw it happen to my payware plane when I was outside my Simmers Sky A319 while taxing. I never had this before and its annoying any ideas as to what might be causing this and how it could be corrected. Thanks for all suggestions and help..........................

To all that gave imput ...thanks...I guess I will just have to enjoy the amt of landings I get no matter how sparce and appreciate not having to wait in a line up to land LOL
