February 18, 201313 yr A while back after trying out DX10 for the first time, and was quite satisfied if I may add, I was taking screenshots of my ASUS UEFI BIOS in the event that if something should go wrong that I would have a backup to fix any issue. Now here is the bad part... While taking the pics I pressed the OC Tuner thinking it would take me to another menu but all it did was reboot the computer.Since then, on every startup, the PC starts to boot (I can hear the fans) then all goes quiet for a few seconds and the PC boots up fine. I have read that the OC Tuner is garbage and can fry a CPU, I ran CPU-Z and started FSX, the core speed was 1.6GHz and ran up to 4.4GHz (1648 MHz to 4430 MHz). I could have sworn that my PC was OC's to 4.8GHz at one point when I built it with the help of Michael at FS-GS.Here is the screenshot of CPU-Z and here is a link to my BIOS settings at dropbox settings https://www.dropbox.com/sh/etowmtuyhgnq5ep/8ZeP0SyTGM feedback would be appreciated. \Robert Hamlich/
February 18, 201313 yr Let it finish, it could take several reboots before it finds the sweet spot. I dont unfortunately know how to abort the process though. Jay EKlund UVA/GCVA Pile-it
February 18, 201313 yr Dropbox thing is junk anyway when you loose your overclock this is normal no harm done (and you have lost it), all you need to do is up your multiplier in your bios nothing else, works on my gigabyte anyway. Rich Sennett
