  1. If I understand your problem correctly, I think it goes directly back to flying at 16x. It cannot make corrections that fast and will oscillate. Does it work fine at 1x? If so, I think you know the solution. Jay EklundCAT VI Senior Captain KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  2. If anyone knows how to accomplish that, it would be ideal but PSS always had those wacky web installers, only thing local was the setup to launch the process. As unperfect as some of the packages are, There's a couple (57 and 77)I fly regularly and I think were actually quite nice in most respects. The thought of being without them in the future is disheartening to say the least. Jay EklundCAT VI Senior Captain KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png

  5. Go to the NAV/RAD page, you can then enter either the freq or even just the vor name. For example, put 117.9 for DEN or just DEN and it will resolve. you can even pre-stage freq's by entering them near the bottom, don't recall what the exact field is called though. Preset perhaps? I think best practice though is to just let them auto tune. Should'nt be a problem provided the FMC was programmed completely and correctly. As for Wilco vs PSS, if it's functionality you're after, stick with the PSS. If you're more of a visual type flyer, perhaps the Wilco would be a better choice but I can't comment too much on it as I have the PSS only.Jay EklundCAT VI Senior Captain KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  6. Yep, Donna toucha thing while you're pushing except 1,2 or SHF-P again. You can even do a second turn which I have yet to see a PB gauge be able to do. With larger planes the delay for a turn can take 10 seconds or more. Will have to look at the 1 planes length in action but it makes sense. 7. While either would be a nice addition, I would go for the yoke first. It completely changed in a good way the feel of FS when I changed from my cougar to a CH. But then again, I'm sure that will depend a bit upon what you fly most of the time. A yoke doesn't make a lot of sense if you're buzzing around in an F-16. For the QOS though, Yoke, hands down. 8. Owner here. I am also a little miffed about the overdue load editor but, besides that (minor) point, I give it a thumbs up. Systems detail is not to the level of PMDG, but as long as you're not getting too granular in that respect, it's a fine product with a lot of functionality and it flies great. 10. I too am somewhat flustered by all the FSX stuff as I have no plans to make the move to it until some of my favorite add-ons are updated or replaced but it was inevitably going to happen sooner or later. It's just sooner in this case.Jay EklundCAT VI Senior Captain KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  11. Think you're really going to have to more closely define "doesn't work". Works for me unless you're referring to it doing anything other than being a moving map. I wouldn't even attempt to use it's AP functions if thats what you're trying. Jay EklundCAT VI Senior Captain KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png

  13. Yeah sure, I'm setup that way. Have EICAS?, EICAS selector, chronometer, CDU and SB3. Works great.EDIT: 3d views have ground FPS to the ground in my experience but I run two monitors off 1 7800GT video card.Jay EklundCAT VI Senior Captain KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  14. Sorry i don't have T/R but I think start procedures are largely airline specific. The one example I can think of that doesn't follow either of your procedures is DLH. Saw a video of them going through a start on http://www.a340.net/ and they do 4&3 together and then 2&1 the same way. I wouldn't think that any start order would have a tendency to move or stress anything on a 74x. Jay EklundCAT VI Senior Captain KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  15. I believe Bob's modifications were for the 33x and 34x only. If you can't locate them here or on Bob's site, post an address and I would be glad to send it your way if it's not too big. As for changes you can make your self, make use of the forum and read, the same exact question came up 2 days ago and is a whole 4 or 5 subjects below this one. I know it's an awfully long ways to have to scroll. :

  17. You have a problem for sure. 340KIAS at FL310 will not be M.591. I suspect you still have a model/airfile conflict lurking still. Might I suggest using the airfile from Bob Scott? A search through the PSS forum should provide a link to a DL. When you re-installed the buses, were you sure to delete any remnants of the previous install first?Jay EklundCAT VI Senior Captain KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png

  19. Don't own the FT, but I do give the PSS a qualified thumbs up. If you're looking for functionality over eye candy, PSS is your only choice IMHO. Jay EklundCAT VI Senior Captain KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png

  22. Unless something has changed in the last 16 hours or so, International flight plans are not complete, at least as it pertains to the flights I was looking at very recebtly, EGLL-KLAX. I would just check all flights between two points and check the different airlines routing. Am I not looking in the right place perhaps? 24. Don't hack your FS unless you have to, the installer is listed in the add/remove programs applet in the control panel. Forgot exactly what it was called but you should be able to identify it by name.Jay EklundCAT VI Senior Captain KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
