Is FS2crew 747 Voice as good as the 737 version as I know it's older?

The 737NGX version is better, generally speaking, because PMDG provided an SDK for the NGX which allows for directly control over the aircraft.

 

However, if you like 747s, the Voice Commander is still good.

Ah OK. So I cant ask the FO to "set flaps 5", "gear down" etc? Is most of the pre-flight setup automated like the 737?

Of course you can do that.

 

The big thing you can't do in the 747 however is ask the FO to set Speed, Flaps and Heading in the Autopilot Panel.

 

But flaps and gear, works 100 percent.
