February 24, 201313 yr How do you get the 4100 to start up Cold & Dark in FSX? Thanks, Ron Thanks, Ron Fields
February 24, 201313 yr I took the easy way. I open the tutorial and then change the location to a different airport. Another way is to use FSUIPC and LINDA (LINDA has a Cold and Dark reset). The last way is to land and do an exact shutdown using the checklist, making sure to set the start locks as the engines are winding down (I haven't found that this option works as well). FS2Crew will also clean up a shut down airplane for you though you might have to unfeather the props. Gregg Gregg Seipp "A good landing is when you can walk away from the airplane. November 17, 201312 yr I've a cold an dark J41 just by simply shutting down the aircraft (all systems off) and saving it as default flight in FSX. In FSX under General uncheck "show opening screen" and restart FSX. FSX is now starting and opening the VC of the J41 with all the switches off (no additional programs needed).
