The visual requirements for Class 1 and Class 2 medical certification are available in JAR FCL 3

Good luck mate

The linked document contains the "UK guidance and associated policy" as stated on the first page of the Introduction. The OP is in the Netherlands and should contact the authorities in the Netherlands to get definitive advice, as has already been suggested.

JAR FCL 3 is published by the JAA now EASA. All European Aviation Authorities/Airlines take the medical standards for flight crew licencing from this publication.

What I posted is still correct. The link you posted has sections highlighted in red giving the UK differences from JAR.

Anyway, how would the following extract help the OP

Apologies, I didn't realise it linked to a specific page, it was supposed to link to the entire publication. All the visual requirements and authorised corrective methods/surgery are available in the 3 subsections for Opthalmology. As it happens, the OP has already found FCL-3.

If you just want to get in the air you might be interested in knowing there is a Sport Pilot licence here in the US. It pertains to a certain weight of aircraft. If memory serves me right it allows one to fly light weight aircraft with a auto drivers lic. If you don't have a drivers lic. then a physical is required. You may have the same in your country.

Good luck,

Ralph
