All European Aviation Authorities/Airlines take the medical standards for flight crew licencing from this publication.

What I posted is still correct. The link you posted has sections highlighted in red giving the UK differences from JAR. Anyway, how would the following extract help the OP SUBPART C – CLASS 2 MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS JAR-FCL 3 SECTION 1 JAR–FCL 3.340 Visual requirements (a) Distant visual acuity. Distant visual acuity, with or without correction, shall be 6/12 (0,5) or better in each eye separately and visual acuity with both eyes shall be 6/6 (1,0) or better (see JAR–FCL 3.340(f) below). No limits apply to uncorrected visual acuity ( B) Refractive errors. Refractive error is defined as the deviation from emmetropia measured in dioptres in the most ametropic meridian. Refraction shall be measured by standard methods (see paragraph 1 Appendix 13 to Subpart C). Applicants shall be assessed as fit with respect to refractive errors if they meet the following requirements.... Gerry Howard

Anyway, how would the following extract help the OP Apologies, I didn't realise it linked to a specific page, it was supposed to link to the entire publication. All the visual requirements and authorised corrective methods/surgery are available in the 3 subsections for Opthalmology. As it happens, the OP has already found FCL-3.
February 27, 201313 yr If you just want to get in the air you might be interested in knowing there is a Sport Pilot licence here in the US. It pertains to a certain weight of aircraft. If memory serves me right it allows one to fly light weight aircraft with a auto drivers lic. If you don't have a drivers lic. then a physical is required. You may have the same in your country.
