British Midland logo

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I am a complete newbie to repainting, even though I've been using FS for years. I am trying to repaint the Coolsky DC9 in British Midland colours, but could anyone tell me what font the old BM logo was please (just the white bit)? And also, where I could possibly get it? Any suggestions? Thank you so much for any help!

John.

Univers Bold Italic might have been the base for the British Midland text.

Maybe the suggestion you arleady received by PM is the same.

Please give answers and suggestions to questions on this forum and not via PM.

Giving anwers on the forum itself can be helpfull to other painters viewing the topic too.

Yes, sorry, that was the exact font that was given in PM. I have to say, however, that the '75' version was the one I actually used, as it is a bit bolder (and thus more accurate). Just for your info.

Almost finished the repaint, but won't be able to get it on the aircraft for some time. There's noone who can test it for me is there?

Sorry, guess I missed the "just the white bit".

The logo looked pretty close even though the titles are different.
