March 8, 201313 yr I installed FSX SP-2. Now when I fly over Lake Michigan what was lake is now land - my first thought is to uninstall and re-install FSX, but before I did that I thought I would ask on the forum if others have had a similar issue. Thank you. Chuck Steinmetz
March 8, 201313 yr Soudns like the strange behavior of UTX to me. Are you by any chance using Ultimate Terrain USA? If this is the case try to disable UTX and enable it again, and look if Lake Michigan is still dry. Flo Florian
March 8, 201313 yr All you need to do is just run the UTX config utility, it checks everything and says okay, then close and fly. But make sure you have the latest version of UTX by visiting scenerysolutions.com Plus a trick, after updating to the latest version, is pressing ctrl alt and R (I think, check their forums) to check for duplicate or old files to remove
