Thanks for that reference.  That made my morning.

It gets worse.  You highlighted the C-64.  I had a VIC-20.  :Skull:

Kevin,

As a former P-3C TACCO, I love sensors. Lots of them. But yeah, it's in the data base on the Boeings.

Since you and MD driver, the Leonardo Maddog has a fully function ground mapping radar that you can actually navigate by (you have to have the correct settings - PM me if you ever get the aircraft and I'll hook you up). It's great to see the river on the KDCA River Visual when it's not visual conditions (just saying), or Long Island, Manhattan, and Tampa, all shorts of nice stuff.

Not nearly as good as what we had (though I'm not sure what the Phantom had in that regards), but it's still nice to have.

The Maddog also has a GPWS Data Base, fully function GPWS, and for that matter, a fully functional everything else!

Later!

Hi, Dave,

The Phantom didn't have much at all, very basic, but the F-16 had some pretty advanced sensors. Our Block 42's with the wide angle HUD and LANTIRN could really reach out into the night.

I built a Sinclair ZX80, had an Apple II, IIE, and IIGS, and then a Tandy TRS-80.
