strange circle

Featured Replies

ey folks, - I have a strane circle appearing on my monitor, - its only been since I installed active sky, - I didn't notice it last night, as I was flying through snow (which was crazily trippy and really buggers up ones eyes btw) I have only just noticed it today.

It does it with all a/c not just pmdg.

have a look

Hi Paul,

I'm not sure, but this could be the landing light effect from the aircraft.  Can you confirm?  You may want to try restoring your graphics (Graphics, settings) to see if this "goes away".  If you have other mods/addons installed that are changing your landing light effects, it may be incompatible.  In that case, you can "uncheck" the Landing Light category from AS2012 graphics (in Graphics, settings, install options), which will prevent this item from being updated from AS2012 graphics (while other categories will be updated).

Hi Damien, thanks.

I had thought of that but -  I ruled that out and as it has only done it once, with the outside of the circle being blurry, and having flown at night several times since i didn't really bother that much.

If it does it again I will try what you suggest.

Thanks

Paul

Pretty much everything in FSX on the surfavce is blocks and squares. Yours are pretty crisp or its just the angle.

What res textures are you using?
