March 20, 201313 yr Chaps, Any thoughts as too which is better, EZdok or Opus? I like the cameras in EZdok, but hate the configuration, is it worth moving? I might be interested in the weather engine, but i'm pretty happy with AS2012. Any other alternatives? Thanks Ian R Tyldesley
March 21, 201313 yr Opus camera configuration is incredibly easy. Absolute doddle compared to EZDOK. And the effects every bit as good IMO. I use a combination of Opus for camera movement and Accufeel for sounds, and it's completely changed my flying experience.

Does Opus have the same ultra smooth transition between cameras that EZDOK can do? Thanks, gb. YSSY. March 21, 201313 yr Yes, pretty smooth, and speed adjustable. I should say that I only use Opus for internal (e.g. VC) views. Not sure that it has as much capability as EZDOK for external views (**) Maybe someone else could comment on that. (** yet - they are adding functionality to the product on a daily basis. At the moment they are focussed on the weather engine, but after that they say they will be enhancing the camera functions.)

March 21, 201313 yr I prefer EZDOK but I want to try OPUS cameras again but I was so confused by the whole process. I say, if you don't own EZDOK already then get OPUS because EZDOK initial setup will make you insane and OPUS has a great weather program that comes with the cameras making it a great value!
March 21, 201313 yr Author Yeah I already have EZDok, it's a great program with a horrible setup / interface. I was looking for something to replace it. I don't really want the weather engine (though I hear good things about it) but the camera looks quite interesting. I may try it. Thanks for the thoughts. Ian R Tyldesley
