March 20, 201313 yr I would like to do some jets and carrier landings. So, I will be needing a good jet and carrier. I have FSX Deluxe SP2 ... as far as I know, all carriers are AI type without cats / arresters etc. I looked for FSX Acceleration to get the carriers but I do not think it is sold by Microsoft any longer (CD or download)? March 20, 201313 yr Author Jim, Thanks. I thought it was all sold out .by now! I go it ordered. You can usually find Gold at the same price as Acceleration. Ryan, I wondered about that also .. but if I remember from P.Taylor's blog, Acceleration will install over existing FSX SP2 (or add SP2 if it is missing) which makes life easier for me. Acceleration will install some of the FSX fixes that were in SP2 but SP2 was specially coded so that one could not install the aircraft, missions, etc., that came with the payware product, Acceleration.
