March 21, 201313 yr Every one keeps saying to let FSUIPC handle your controls, so i finally had enough gump to try it following the tutorials . Sure enough i should of left it alone. All my general planes seem ok but for some reason the NG -the parking brake is on and won't come off. The red banner at the bottom left is on and i can't get it off no how . I was hoping some one could come on face time on their iPAD or Skype and maybe see what's ailing this thing cause she's stuck at the gate rock solid I haven't flown since Nov. cause my Presicion flight Control yoke let go, sent it down to them and they wanted 345 bucks to fix it so i bought a new one for 620 bucks and now stuck again. March 21, 201313 yr the NG -the parking brake is on and won't come off. Remove the chocks. On the CDU, go to FS Actions, Ground Connections and set wheel chocks to REMOVED. Kenny Lee"Keep climbing"
March 21, 201313 yr Author Now is that an embassing stupid thing i did or what duhh  I got hundreds of hours on this thing and never came across this, so i thought it had some thing to do with my axis and calibration when i transfered every thing to FSUIPC .Oh well an other dumb simmer in your mists, sure enough that's what it was . Thanks even though i can't really buy you a beer unless your at the sim conference in Witchita. Louis Massicotte Caroline Alberta

Thanks even though i can't really buy you a beer unless your at the sim conference in Witchita. Haha - [stuff] happens! I went on a long trip for work a few weeks ago and had to drive an automatic transmission car. When I got back to IAD and back to my car, I tried starting it and it wouldn't work. I turned the key and everything came to life, but it wouldn't start. Because of that, I killed all of my extra electric draw - the radio, my phone charger, the fans for my ventilation, and my lights - to salvage all the elec I could from my clearly dying battery to throw at the starter. No dice. Shut the car off and almost called someone to pick me up, but some reason I mentally rebooted and went into my old manual transmission mode: -Clutch -Wobble shifter to confirm neutral -Turn key BAM! Started right up. In my defense, my first car didn't require the clutch to be out to start the car, but the boneheaded part is just the same. Cheers! Kyle Rodgers
