March 26, 201313 yr A brand new service starts in the UK soon with Virgin Little Red offering services from Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Manchester to London Heathrow, this will bring about some much needed competition with the current BA monopoly on regional routes into London. So, I decided to paint the expected livery of the aircraft EI-DEO, the aircraft currently belongs to Aer Lingus and will be leased to Virgin for the operation of the route. She will be on Avsim very soon if anyone wants to replicate the first flight starting Sunday the 31st of March. Lawrence Ashworth

Aharon The paint is Project Airbus and is in the Avsim library now. Virgin only operate internationally at the moment here, they do operate from a lot of places like Scotland and other places in England but the scope of those flights is often limited to holiday destinations like Orlando. Most of their operation relies on passengers getting to one of the two big London airports of which currently the only option to do that is with British Airways, their biggest competitor, hence the new venture. March 28, 201313 yr We're not a fan of British airways at Virgin :lol: But as said above virgin at the moment is a very international airline, and here at the virtual group, we mostly fly transatlantic flights to destinations all across America and and in the Caribbean, with a few to the middle and far east. Also our schedules incorporate only a few flights within the united kingdom and they are all maintenance and re-positioning flights. Will Torrens
