There are multiple objects with the same title name

"they must have unique title names"

I have about 20 of these after a large WOA1 download. What do I need to do to change the title name using the below example?

Each aircraft has an aircraft.cfg file (which is just a text file anyway and can be edited with notepad).

In each aircraft.cfg file there may be one or more fltsim entries. One fltsim entry for each repaint of the aircraft used.

Under each fltsim entry there will be a title. This title uniquely identifies each aircraft variation and you cannot have duplicates.

The title is important because this is what the traffic file reads to determine which aircraft the traffic file should fly.

example:

[fltsim.0]
title=Trojan T28D

Now, you can just change the title to something else, anything else and then resave the aircraft.cfg or you could try to determine the conflict and make a reasoned choice as to which aircraft title you need to change. Remember, the traffic file is using the title to determine which aircraft to fly.

In your example you need to open the FSX/Simobjects/airplanes/WoA-AIA_B732/aircraft.cfg file, look for the title for Batavia Air (I'm not going to type out the whole thing) and change that to something else. It is also possible that you may have duplicates with the same aircraft.cfg so check these as well.

For FS9 there was a nice utility, ACA2005 that could find those duplicates straight away.  The author was updating for FSX and made an ACA2007Lite version, but I couldn't get it to run.  AIFP2 is another program that can help find duplicate titles.
