TAXI & LANDING LIGHTS

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm having a problem with the taxi and landing lights.  I'm using FSX Accelleration and the PDG737NGX.  When they are turned on you can harcly see them from the cockpit view, but when I go to an outside view they are brighter.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Rob

As far as I know, the illumination of the ground by the landing and taxi lights as seen from the virtual cockpit is hard coded into the virtual cockpit model.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

1st thing that comes to mind is to check your fsx settings.

''Aircraft lights illuminate ground''

Try it a night. ( not dusk, as certain time of dusk the lights wont illuminate the ground, although it may look dark enough)
