March 29, 201313 yr In my FSX folder after the last of the sub folders I have hundreds of these files they are Bip map image and AGN files Should they be there? I would like to clear them to tidy up if there unnecessary ZORAN
March 30, 201313 yr They do not belong there. In could move them all over to a Temp folder, run fsx and see if fsx complains. They could be from a bad install. For instance, the installer should have made a folder for the scenery such as KORD. Then under that a scenery and texture folder. Your picture is too small to see what some of the file names are (even when I click on it and go to the external website). But anything with a .agn extension are textures which could belong to the default FSX in the Scenery/World/Texture folder or in an addon belonging to Orbx or FSDT airports. These textures are definitely not located in the Main directory of FSX so I think it would be safe to move them to a Temp folder and then maybe delete them if FSX continues to function properly. March 30, 201313 yr Where they are, those files are doing nothing. But I couldn't make out the filenames however it looks like maybe they could be the landclass textures normally found in Scenery\World\Texture. I'll go out on a limb and guess maybe they were intended as a backup of default terrain textures. See if you have identical named files with newer "created dates" in World\Texture. scott s. .
