April 3, 201313 yr All summed up, what can you say about this? I believe both have raised the bar to higher standards, I cared to watch a few videos and read a few reviews, and I am not using FSX anymore (moved to P3D), but there is presently a native P3D version of the iFly model costing $79,95: Looking fwd for your comments / suggestions / opinions :-) Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
April 3, 201313 yr Depends, I think if you want to build a cockpit further down the line ifly should be the way to go. Soarbywire - Avionics Engineering
April 3, 201313 yr What exactly is "best" supposed to mean? Better frame rates? Better simulations modelling? Better flight model? User friendliness? Your poll is pretty incomplete. AJ Pongress

Don't forget to also download the free update from the ifly forums, all registered owners get a nice texture/systems upgrade pack.
April 3, 201313 yr Author @ajpongress: Thanks for your points... I would say, best overall, with emphasis on systems modelling accuracy, flight model, and smoothness. For me an airplane can even not have exterior model, or look like a cartoon from the outside ( put a nice lady instead and it'll be just fine for me :-), but the cockpit should be detailed as as close to real as possible, with good textures and displays. @FIVE-BY-FIVE: Ok ;-) Thx for the info FIVE-BY-FIVE ;-)!!! Based on your description, the PMDG would be best for you. It's systems accuracy is astounding, the flight model is extrememly authentic, and the virtual cockpit is stunning. Also, the PMDG NGX was utilized in the Angle of Attack 737 training program. EDIT: Sorry, neglected the P3D requirement. Sent from my GT-N8013 using Tapatalk HD Shane Gavin
April 3, 201313 yr Based on your description, the PMDG would be best for you. Only in FSX, for P3D the iFly is the way to go, as Rendi has already pointed out, though he has not said the probably most important thing clearly: Using any PMDG addon in P3D would be a violation of the EULA! Florian
April 3, 201313 yr Author Ok, I'll pass PMDG's NG and go for the iFly offer through Flight1.
