April 4, 201313 yr I'm thinking of moving over to Prepare3D. I know that the PMDG 737 is supported but how about the 747? There were some posts last year about it making Prepare3D crash but haven't heard any updates yet. Many thanks
April 5, 201313 yr Commercial Member All it requires is a small code change to the 747 work in the P3D. At some point in the future I may update the 747. However, PMDG has stated that there will be a 747 V2... that will definately be P3D compatible. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord

April 8, 201313 yr Commercial Member Thank you. is the code change relatively easy to do? The code change is not that complex. The scary part is the 747 is old. Touching old code is scary because I risk breaking something. Other issue is the 747 V2 should hopefully come out soon (I know nothing about release dates, that's purely speculative), and I would assume that PMDG would support P3D out of the box for the 747 V2... again, that's just a guess.
