April 8, 201313 yr There is an airport in FSX which has unrealistic cliffs covering it on all three sides. The airport is basically carved into a mountain, when in real life it is much different. I'd like to lower the terrain surrounding the airport so it doesn't look so cheesy. Does anyone know of an easy way that I can raise and lower terrain in FSX for just a small area? April 8, 201313 yr In general the method is to use sloped flattens to make the transition. It can be very dependent on mesh resolution slider setting so experiment with that during testing. scott s. .
