having problems straight away

Featured Replies

Hi spanner76, I had a similar problem with blacked out gauges after I purchased and installed the 747-8, I got in touch with PMDG Technical Support Desk and I got a reply back from Ryan very quickly and this was what he suggested and also the solution;

"Sounds like the validation got messed up somehow.  I'd uninstall both the 400X and the -8 (do the -8 first) from Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs and then reinstall them and redo the validation."

Once I had done this and ran the 747 Configuration Manager everything worked like aq charm and I haven't had a problem since.

Best of luck to you as you will not be disappointed with this once it's running properly.

Mick.
