i will always pick the 747 over the 777. Maybe because its love for the original long haul queen. The way she handles in full manual is just spot on and a joy to fly. the 777 is great too dont get me wrong. But the feeling is just not the same.

i am able to land using the ILS at SEA. All three work.

i just upgraded to an i7 6700k and there seems to be similar problems with freezing... no issues however with display driver yet.

i believe this has been discussed already. Since Boeing has not released any performance data, PMDG has no info to go off. Look at some previous (historical) posts. There should be a lot of them and you may find your answer there.

will there be an update to the sounds similar to the 777? i love the 5.1 surround sound and would love to see it for the NGX. Is this on the horizon as an update in the future? Thanks. -Mike Backes

no its free, as will be the 747 and the MD11.... of course its a new purchase. It states this in the forums and plenty of other places.

i doubt it. sliders are normal and no tweaks besides the recommended ones by pmdg...

i have now, the QW installed and flies beautifully as does the LVL-D and Captain Sim and even Carenado. Various freewares also fly without issue. And yes, the scenario screen pops up first with the F35 at which time i select the aircraft.

i am still getting terrible stutters.... I did a fresh install of only v3 and the NGX 777. The F35 is the default on the scenario screen but is changed to either the 777 to ngx and then loaded to fly. the stutters are a nightmare. i did the steps again but still happen.... really frustrating.

My NGX and 777 work in terms of loading and functionality, but produce horrible stutters.

i apologize i should have clarified, when P3D launches it loads into the scenario screen but shows the defail stuff.

IT loads super fast. It loads the default plane (F35) and airport (Langley). I can fly it all day long without issues. The issues happen with the 737 and 777. They both load fine, and for a few minutes everything is smooth, but the there is a short stutter or freeze and it lasts maybe 5 or so seconds and then it resumes. It gets worse during cruise and landing. Landing is the worst where it happens withing seconds. Freeze recover, freeze recover and so on.

i did all the suggested steps, but i get lags lasting about 5 seconds every 30 seconds. Only P3Dv3 and PMDG installed. thats it, plus the steps above of course..

default is F22 in P3D.... Try a complete uninstall of the 737. re install it and see if that did anything. Make sure the entries are there in your .dll

wow, this has really already been discussed. The horse is dead, move on. Buy it or dont, up to you. But read the already open post regarding this.

Its unrealistic to think that individual reports would be available for every airline but more are coming onstream? - i never said that. i said they have reports for the airlines they do have.

well for one is the realistic dispatch reports tailored to the airline. Winds aloft is another. there is more but obviously it wont matter here.

well, i enjoy the brief it gives with with detailed weather... some things PFPX are just missing.
