April 12, 201313 yr Hi when I'm climbing or descending through 10,000 feet I "SOMETIMES" get a "Bong" alert. My problem is not so much what its for, but why only sometimes I get it, its random with which livery i'm flying with at the time. If anyone knows the reason it would be much appreciated. Thanks. April 12, 201313 yr Its the seatbelt sign, the switch is in AUTO and they come on automatically when descending through 10,000ft and turn off automatically when climbing through 10,000ft, they also come on automatically regardless of switch position if the passenger oxygen masks are deployed. April 12, 201313 yr Author Thanks very much for that. It's been bugging me for days why it was. I guess it's because I use different saved panels and not realised that the switch is set in different positions on different panels. April 12, 201313 yr This is actually a small bug. The 737 does not automatically engage the Seat Belt sign at 10k ft. when set at AUTO. In reality, it will engage when the flaps are lowered. At least, that's the way it is at my outfit. Not sure about others, it might be a customer option PMDG modelled as default. Name available upon request
