April 13, 201313 yr How do I get FSX to recognize the Saitek trim wheel? Thanks, Howard Howard Jetline Systems: Intel 8th Gen Core i7 8700K (4.8GHz Overclock); GTX 1080 Ti; LG Curved UltraWide 3440x1440 Monitor .
April 13, 201313 yr Just plug it into a USB port and fire up FSX. No drivers needed. Go to Controls in FSX, select the Saitek Trim Wheel and assign it to the Trim option. You may need ot turn the wheel quite a bit for FSX to recognize it. If it doesn't work in one direction try the other. You should also check the other devices in the Control dialog and remove the "Trim" assignent from them, so that the Saitek Trim wheel is the only device assigned to Trim. Ernie
April 13, 201313 yr Sometimes you need to roll the trim wheel 3 turns or so and then it gets recognized.
