Autogen tearing, how to solve?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I do not use autogen.

I decided to test the "sparse" and of course I see more trees, buildings , ... BUT when these objects are generated they are "tearing" vertically.

How to solve?

Sounds like autogen spiking. I use the external limiter locked at 30 to stop this.

Is there any reasoning behind not using Autogen ?

ENB can cause tearing, especially FXAA Injector. Do you have it installed ?

Hello,

Thanks for the answer.

I do not use ENB , FXAA injector.

Why I was not using Autogen?

Long time ago I have used Full Screen on my 3 monitors

monitor 1 : 2D cockpit

monitor 2 : Fixed Spot view

monitor 3 : an other view

Other PC : Plan-G

The Autogen was generating a LOT of problems on the "other view" Many distortions, mixing colors ....... so I decided to returm to "Window mode" monitor 1 : 2D cockpit, monitor 2 Fixed Spot view and monitor 3 : Plan-G.

I see this at some times as well, I know it is my old video card just not keeping up with the load being placed on it by the CPU.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
