Repetitive loading screen

Featured Replies

Since I installed my new GTX670 card last week, whenever I attempt a flight I get the loading screen - ie. the black screen with a white box and black progress bar that you see at the start of a flight - every few minutes. It is worse on the ground, about every 2 or 3 minutes; just taxiing to the runway from the gate at EGLL it happened 8 times. It's a little less frequent after take-off, about once every 5 minutes, and when I reach cruise altitude, it just happens maybe once every 15 minutes. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be the cause? It is driving me nuts!

I have a lesser video card than you, a GTX260 and I get similar reloading of the screen periodically.  None of the NVidia updates have made any difference.  Anyway it just reloads and no further problems.  Annoying but at least no crashes...yet.  I would also be interested in possible solutions.

Are you using FSUIPC or FSInn to synchronize the in-simulator time with real time? If so, try disabling that.

It's hard to believe that it happens with the NGX only. What happens if you choose a different airplane (default Microsoft for example)?

Good point Oliver. It's just that I havent flown anything else since May 2011.

Thank you Petja. That was it! Just had a flight EGKK-LIRN and it didn't happen once. Endless thanks!
