I was wondering if someone wouldn't mind doing a repaint for the 'Simmers Sky' MD11??? The latest version has a nice VC and would look great in FEDEX colors. I'm surprised no one has done a FedEx repaint for this bird yet... :-hmmm The VC looks great for a freeware offering. Hey Dillon, you can use version one textures of FedEx (available in Avsim's library) just remember to copy VC textures (10 total) from main aircraft texture folder and make sure you place initials vc on model line (aircraft configuration)It works great...have fun!

Version one of what??? :-hmmm If your talking about IFDG, I don't see how those textures could be carried over... The files don't even have the same names...

Should be... You would would have to download the plane and try it out. It's a freeware aircraft so If you know what your doing, the skies the limit...

Guys this freeware is great. Everything from the flight model to the VC is wonderful. She is even tail heavy as in the real aircraft so landing can be a little challenging... Tracking the ILS is a bit slow but that's fine by me (I don't mind getting her lined up). Being this is a bit of an unstable aircraft (depending on weight) care has to be taken when fully configured for landing and flying at slower speeds. This is the case in the real world (I used to work at FedEx and remember talking to pilots about this bird, especially after that KEWR crash). I think the guys that designed this bird did a wonderful job (did I mention flexing wings)...So until PMDG releases their MD11, we have a great freeware package to tide us over.
