April 27, 201313 yr Has anyone purchased the Thai Creation Namaste Mumbai airport for FS 2004? How are the frames? Are they same to other Thai Creation airports. I have a couple of their sceneries and their fps are great.
April 27, 201313 yr I don't have it yet, but there are a couple of other threads about it, and it sounds like it's well worth the money.
April 27, 201313 yr I have bought it right away and also wrote a short review at SimMarket.com Very pleased with the scenery! Also nice performance. Below is what I wrote: "This is my first purchase of a Thai Creation product, and they didn't let me down! Modelling and texturing is very well done, and the airport really feels alive with moving cars, apron vehicles and even a train. Also the surroundings are done, giving you the feeling that you are approaching a city. A small point of critisim is the movement of the vehicles, they do not run as fluid as for example AESlite vehicles. But I think that is a technical limitation... I also experienced some lag after loading, but this is caused by the fact that some textures do not have an alpha channel. After adding those by myself, the scenery runs smooth as silk (Intel Core i7 950, 6 GB RAM Geforce 660TI)."

Below is what I wrote I would agree - I too am very pleased with this. Thai Creation have produced a very high quality scenery with Mumbai (not quite Fly Tampa quality but almost there!) with a generous amount of autogen buildings outside the airport perimeter which really adds to this scenery. I have my maximum frame rate set to 30 and I have no problem getting this with any aircraft I have used there. I temporarily set my frame rates to unlimited to try to answer your question and with the default Baron I was getting 80-200 FPS depending on what part of the scenery was in view. Bill
