External volume

Featured Replies

I've posted in the official forum, but haven't had much luck, perhaps someone here knows how to increase the external engine volume? It is nearly silent, and like someone else said, almost as if you're wearing ear plugs. The sounds are one of the better features of this addon, and would love to resolve the external sounds issue. If anyone has managed to rectify this problem, let me know! If not, are the devs aware that there's an issue? I can't imagine it's supposed to be like this...

Nevermind, found a similar topic a couple pages back... Sounds as though I'm not the only one dissapointed with the external sounds. Still no input from the devs on this? I honestly love the aircraft, but all these little issues are starting to add up, I know they'll be fixed in time, but it's slowly starting to get to me.

changing sound volume in external view meant to be a feature - simulating the fact that when you get closer to the aircraft, the sound increases...

It seems that this feature found more dislikers than likers, so probably we will return to classical "constant volume" solution in external spot view.

I like the theory, but I use locked spot view zoomed out to .50 and then move camera towards aircraft with cntrl +. This gives much sharper textures for the terrain, with this method it doesn't get loud enough. Going back to the classic fixed volume would be the best solution. Thank you for taking the time to respond. This is the best turboprop for FSX period.
