May 1, 201313 yr Hi Can someone direct me to the instructions on how to enter the correct NAV / ILS freq / station (such as 148.1) into the plane to pick up the ILS glide scope? The SR22 has a numpad, but I don't know how to use it to enter in the frequency. Thanks.
May 1, 201313 yr 148.1 isn't a valid frequency. Anyway there should be a NAV knob on the left hand side of the main PFD (the screen in front of pilot)... This enters frequencies into the little box on upper left of the screen. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

May 3, 201313 yr Thanks, i am able to adjust the freq; however, i am not able to see / catch the glidescope on the left PFD. Any advice? Did you set your CDI to nav 1 (green) or is it still on gps (magenta)? Regards,Kyle
May 3, 201313 yr FlyBaby, There could be a dozen or more reasons why you can't capture an ILS. It sounds like you need to find some detailed training material for the G1000. You probably have it buried in the FSX folder on your PC. I think I gave the location in either the Carenado C182T or the Cirrus SR22T Avsim review. Look in the G1000 discussion of the review. The Carenado G1000 ILS and radio stuff is the same as the FSX default. Ray Link in FSX C:\FSX\FSWeb\LearningCenter\Navigation\usingtheg1000.htm When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
May 3, 201313 yr @dmbusmc - thanks, I will try that...I still had the CDI on gps. @raymar - thanks, I will research the materials you referenced.
