October 5, 200421 yr Which jet from eaglesoft in your opinion has the best frame rate versus functionality from eaglesoft?? Basically, which is the most functional "clickable" with the best frame rate?
October 5, 200421 yr Btoth the latest Cessna Citations (the X and the II) give you a choice of different versions of the models. Each model offers different performance vs features. I get good performance with either using the standard versions. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
October 6, 200421 yr I *USED* to fly the Citation X on my P4-1300Mhz running a GForce TI4200 - with the "Light" version it ran fine although I had the ground textures etc down low. Tend to use the 2d "Tilt" panels for the switches on them (more down to the fact that sometimes the controls are in the way) - but I use the MFDs, Radio's, Autopilot (slightly blurred on mine at 1280x1024) & everything else on the VC and it is fine.Upgraded to a AMD-64 now anyway so the ground is less of a blurry mess.I looked at both, but went for the "X" due to the range rather than the model detail.......GPS - Tend to fly the "Light" model with DXT textures !! October 6, 200421 yr ive either owned or at least tried all of the eaglesoft planes at one time or another, and ive found that the CitationX panel is just way too bulky to be flown from the VC in a comfortable fashion.Personally, on my machine i find that their original Beechjet400 is best for me as far as VC clickability (theres no need to call up any sub panels as everything in the vc is close enough and large enough to read and click once you get to know her)...plus i get smoother flights (better pc performance) with this plane as compared to their others. The gauges and certain parts of the panels on their planes are a little cartoonish looking to me, but then again im VERY picky and usually prefer photo-realistic cockpits over hand drawn to begin with so youll have to judge for yourself as its a matter of preference really.Dave Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
