i was wonder since in the past when i tried to update my nvidia drivers for GTX560TI i used to get CMD and when returned to the previous no issue at all.

i heard it can make you gain some more frame rates?

do you recommend me to update? to which version?

I have the latest 314.22 and FSX is working fine for me under Windows 7.

I have the latest 320.00 and it is working fine.

I have 560ti, and i'm geting more shimmering with the latest driver. Just reverted to 301.42 and i'm not sure about performance gain(it may be placebo), but shimmering has almost gone.
This can be a pretty much subjective thing, you must find driver which works for you. Many people's have reported better visuals and performance using older drivers. I chose this version just becouse this was the last version for windows 7. The next one was for windows 8 launch ^_^
