May 10, 201313 yr To JComm, I still don't agree on the slips. My favorite FSX planes still slip the best. As to rudder, there are just to many variables between different designs. One size doesn't fit all here. For mixture, I don't see aim aircraft getting specialized enough to really simulate the differences between LOP and ROP........therefor, I don't care about exact fuel flow. Just make them require leaning at higher altitudes. As to aysemetric thrust, I'd like to know GeoffA's thoughts on the Milviz Baron, versus GA twins in XPlane. I know that he likes the Milviz flight model, that was based on his actual Baron. P.S...... Since mixture was always critical for me, and my engines health in real life, I'd never depend on what I see in a sim , as part of a mental flying process. That's why I don't give it much worry. Pilots have a lot of different methods for their leaning prefereces.
May 10, 201313 yr Commercial Member Is there a as good as or better 737NG in X-Plane? Then, I should probably add too, what about the eye candy for scenery/airports? I don't think that's quite there yet in XP either, or is it?The amount and quality of airport scenery will grow exponentially once the World Editor (WED) is in place. The user community will be able to create airport scenery, upload it to a central Laminar scenery warehouse, and have the scenery released by Laminar to the user base. I am totally looking forward to this and seeing more of the X-Plane world come alive with hand crafted airports. REX AccuSeason Developer REX Simulations
