October 9, 200421 yr I think it's a good idea to group all knowledge regarding incompatibilities with modules and the FS2004 patch. Here's the first one I found:HostSB.dll Version 1.0.2.1 Randomly crashes FS2004 with patch installed.Any more?
October 9, 200421 yr FSUIPC...had to remove it...FS09 would start with version 3.12 3.2 3.3....cheers
October 9, 200421 yr Did you install the latest version? The Readme of the patch states that FSUIPC and ActiveCamera need updates
October 9, 200421 yr >FSUIPC...had to remove it...FS09 would start with version>3.12 3.2 3.3....>>cheersNick, you might check your own thread on this subject and the readme from MS. Update to FSUIPC required. No problems with FSUIPC3.40 and patch.Allcott

October 9, 200421 yr Impossible to install using french FS9.The installer stop with a "not recognized" ATC.DLL error.Same error after recopying original ATC.DLL from CD2. -Jerome "In thrust we trust"
October 9, 200421 yr The first time through my install stopped on PANELS.DLL. I'm not sure what modified this file, (I don't recall doing anything with it)but copying if off of disk 2 solved the problem. Installed without further error and the sim runs fine.I'll let you all know if I run into problems related to the new PANELS.DLL.
October 9, 200421 yr >Impossible to install using french FS9.>The installer stop with a "not recognized" ATC.DLL error.>Same error after recopying original ATC.DLL from CD2.That's funny - got the same message for my German FS9, but the installer kept going anyway when I clicked OK, and the sim started up and ran normally after it was done.
October 9, 200421 yr >3.3 doenst work and where can i find 3.4? i removed the .dll>file from modules and it works now... but not with FSUIPC.dll>3.3...>>From the FSUIPC website.http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.htmlAllcott
October 11, 200421 yr It's finally working....using the french locale of the patch, available at microsoft.frDamn !@*!! -Jerome "In thrust we trust"
October 11, 200421 yr Those having problems with incomplete installation, is likely the result of some files that have been changed, and also using the No CD program. This ensures that the M.S. patch is being used with a registered versions of the program. If you read the notes for the patch it explains how to get the original files for FS2004.After the patch has been successfully installed, pull down the help menu click on ABOUT and you will see that the version has changed from 9.0 to 9.1.Sgt. October 11, 200421 yr a320pic.dll is as dead as a doornail. Crashes the sim after about 2 minutes. *sigh*. Is there another A320 in the works? Thanks,Mike T.
October 12, 200421 yr I'm not sure if this is the cause, but anytime I use Lee Hetherington's TCAS 7.0 gauge, if I switch views a few times, I get an error in panels.dll. If I remove the gauge, no more errors. I wonder if the change in panels.dll (the old version is about 8kb bigger than the patched version) did something to affect that.
October 12, 200421 yr FYI, all the languages are available from the microsoft.com site. I think AvSim just linked to the english download page...but all are there! ;)
