Here's another tip...

 

The reason you may be getting frequency bounced by FSX ATC is because you're flying on an ATC altitude boundary.  For example, you're flying along at 10,000 feet.  Center's airspace is 10,000 and above and Approach's airspace is 9,999 and below so, as your aircraft oscillates slightly, they keep switching you back and forth.  Pick either 10,100 or 9,900 as your cruise and, if that's the reason, the frequency bouncing will stop.
