I'm not sure if this has been answered or not....at least I couldn't find anything on it.  Is there a way to shorten, or remove entirely, the camera label from appearing in the upper right corner through the camera.cfg file?  It's always been annoying for me when taking screenshots, especially when you think you have a cool angle lined up, but then the label takes forever (well maybe 10 seconds) to disappear. 

 

 

 

Add this line in your fsx.cfg file under [Main], HideInfoText=1. That should work for you!

An alternate approach would be to open your screenie in Paint.  Do a "Save As" TIFF.  Then open the TIFF w/ Windows Live Photo Gallery or Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro and do a crop.  I usually use 16x9 but you could crop as any format you like.  Usually the screenie will be have more impact anyway with a tighter crop.
