May 17, 201313 yr Just made a paint using the large fuselage file in Gimp. I don't see any guide lines to export it to the smaller files. Can anyone help? Anthony Cacciatore
May 17, 201313 yr Hi, In the smaller files, you have layers for marks and color guide for each part. Stéphane LI-THIAO-TE Envoyé de mon iPad à l'aide de Tapatalk HD Location : FMEE
May 17, 201313 yr Author I guess I don't undertand where and how to transfer the parts of the files to the smaller images. I can see the highlighted parts in the smaller images but how do I chop up the larger file into the smaller ones? Anthony Cacciatore
May 17, 201313 yr This is my own method (probably not the best one). Activate marks and color guide for the part you want in the smaller file. With the selection tool, select the color guide, front left for example. Copy the selection and paste in the master file. Activate the mark layer in the master file. Place the color guide correctly. With selection tool, select the color guide. Select the paint layer. Copy the selection. Paste it in the smaller file. Place it correctly. Normally, if you did not unselect before, it should go in the right place. Hope it is not too difficult to understand, english is not my mother tongue. May 17, 201313 yr I use lasso select, going along the blue mapping helplines. When I have the selection, I turn the lines off, do a "Copy Merged" and paste that into the other file, aligned precisely with the crosses. --Peter Fabian
