Did a little evening flight from Whiteman (KWHP) to Altadena via the 210 and Big Tujunga.  Scenery (such as you can see in the backlight) is Bluesky with an Cities X LA overlay.

 

Not the sexiest bird in the Sky but a well rendered and nice flying one.

Thanks for the praise.  I don't post here often.  I used to do some air-to-air photography and it's so easy to grab a nice angle in FSX, not mention setting the perfect time for a shot.  I was never able to persuade the sunset to wait for me while I grabbed a set-up.

 

The backlit haze (not smog) rendered well.  Also I like the slight kick on the fuselage in the second shot.
