Inertia Simulation

Featured Replies

I could swear I saw where one could turn on or off the "Inertia Simulation" on the NGX! Anyone?

You mean the FSX head movement?  That's part of the sim itself, not the NGX.

Hello Kyle,

Actually you are incorrect. I found where I saw it. It is "MomentumEffect = No" under camera definitions. It is not part of the sim. But being that the camera definition for the Captain's Seat is not defined, I assume this cannot be disabled, as I have disabled it for the F/O Seat. So one would have to establish a "Camera Definition" for the Captain's Seat and then edit the definition accordingly.

[CameraDefinition.010]
Title = "F/O Seat"

Kyle,

My apologies. After seeing link posted by John Sturm, I see that the simulation "IS" a part of FSX, because it is controlled by entries in the FSX.cfg file. Nuff said!!! Thanks all.
