How do you Make a Quick Key for VOX ATC PANEL?

Featured Replies

I don't like having to open up my menu every time I want to see the VOX ATC menu. Is it possible to make a fast key for the panel? Or a joystick button?

Yes

Use the joystick setup program in the Vox Program menus.

FSX:
It won't work until you're in FSX and you  run the program from the menu.

VoxATC dialog:
 If you [Enable] it
         the key will work,

 if you [Disable] it won't.

I just downloaded Vox ATC for the 7 day trial. I am afraid i'm gonna like it and want to buy it. Last couple of days i bought Flightbeams KPHX and KSFO (I already have FSDT KLAS and KLAX - i fly a lot in that area) and FS2crew for the NGX. My wallet is hurting guys.

Haven't tried Vox yet, probably this afternoon. I read a tip somewhere to use the same joystick button / key for FS2crew hardmute and for VoxATC activating the mike. That way if you talk to ATC, your FS2Crew FO wont get confused.

Do you guys still recommend VoxATC after using it?

I am quite terrible at remembering commands I get from ATC with all the information and numbers and callsigns, so I hope I can manage that LOL.

I'm also still learning the FS2Crew checklist and voicecommands, so..... it's gonna be hard.

There's already a fast key assigned, it's the "O".

However It won't work until you display and then enable VoxATC via the FSX instrument views.

Look in the VoxATC joystick options, "key" tab, you'll see all the default hotkeys there. :-)
