July 1, 201312 yr Has anyone any experience with this? A recommendation or not? Suitable for FSX/FS9. Sadly, it is impossible to find out the price without downloading the program. :( http://www.wideview.it/fsearth/ , or this from the same team? Better or worse than EZCA (EZdok)? Anyone tried it? http://www.wideview.it/key2mouse.htm John John

July 1, 201312 yr This is better than FS Erath & its a freeware. http://www.utr-online.com/Software.asp?page=4PS: talking about flight log only. Arslan Nouar
July 2, 201312 yr Author Thanks, Mooze, it looks interesting. Obviously, as freeware it's got fewer features than FS Earth. I'll give it a shot. John John
July 11, 201312 yr I used FS Earth via a networked 2nd computer and it resulted in consistent BSOD crashes. I definitively tracked it down to the driver for the program as the culprit. I searched the site's forums and elsewhere and though there is not much activity there were other reported instances of this problem. Haven't used it since.
July 12, 201312 yr Author I used FS Earth via a networked 2nd computer and it resulted in consistent BSOD crashes. Thanks for the info, moggy. Nobody's been enthusiastic about FSEarth. Will give it a miss. John
July 13, 201312 yr Anytime, mate. Actually I was initially very enthusiastic about using FS Earth. It was fun watching Google Earth fly by on another monitor, until things went south.
