My Wish List Details

New PC
Subtotal: $1,082.94

would these play nice together?

Here is the real question: I had one person in my flying group tell me that this would improve it some but not that much from what I have now..

Couldn't I o/c this to like 4.8 or 5.0 ?

I would sure think I would see a huge improvement.. but.. what say you all?

Brian (good name BTW) why UPGRADE to a three year old cpu which can't be overclocked?

Go Haswell 4670K, any Z87 motherboard, decent memory and you're on a winner IMO.

I agree with the above.

But if you are intent with staying with sandybridge, you may want the 2600K which you CAN overclock.
