Here is the real question: I had one person in my flying group tell me that this would improve it some but not that much from what I have now..

Couldn't I o/c this to like 4.8 or 5.0 ? 

I would sure think I would see a huge improvement.. but.. what say you all?

I agree with the above.

 

But if you are intent with staying with sandybridge, you may want the 2600K which you CAN overclock.
