July 23, 201312 yr As soon as you stop tweaking your fs9.cfg it will get better. Install fresh fs9, tweak your video card control center, adjust fs9 internal display config to maximum possible for your machine, and you get the best. Be on the topic, this looks like bad scenario build, dont blame fs9 lol Pioneers of Virtual FlightGear Down Please Retrospective Civil Aviation

July 23, 201312 yr iNTEL CORE 2 DUO 2.9GHZ Never seen this issue before but perhaps my system is giving up on me lol Clears up fine once im near
July 23, 201312 yr Hmmm, the screenshot though seems to be when you're paused as the KIAS is indicating 0. This would be normal as the processor has time to catch up to rendering the scenery. Back when I used FS9, setting the visibility down a bit always helped with the blurries. Tom "I just wanna tell you both: good luck. We're all counting on you."

July 23, 201312 yr You have, by my count, at least 18 addon modules in your menu bar. That is going to EAT your CPU time. What kind of FPS are you getting in general?

July 23, 201312 yr In your FS9.cfg, under the display section, is "auto_lod=" set to 0 or to 1? Do you have a frame-rate cap set, or is that set to unlimited?
July 23, 201312 yr will have a look One sec Ok heres what i have under display in the cfg dont see "auto_lod=" set to 0 or to 1 will have a look One sec Ok heres what i have under display in the cfg dont see "auto_lod=" set to 0 or to 1 TECHPC-2013-jul-23-051.jpg FPS Is at about 35-40 @Jscorna seems like you have a similiar problem i could be wrong just not as noticeable
July 23, 201312 yr Have you gotten clearer textures before? This actually looks pretty normal for FS9, If you're using Nvidia some of their latest drivers have been causing some headaches. Tom "I just wanna tell you both: good luck. We're all counting on you."
July 23, 201312 yr At about 6,000ft up close or even 20,000 feet up high it looks fine main thing is from far distance im going to have to guess its a cpu problem then again cpu usage doesnt go to high even at 1920x1080p on my little core 2 duo and fps stays at a good 35-40 FPS around this area CPU TEMP CORE1 52 CORE2 ABOUT 55 Edited July 27, 201312 yr by Maribell Photo removed - exceeds 400KB Limit
July 23, 201312 yr Hmmm. Maybe it isn't under Display. (I'm not at my FS computer right now, so I can't check...). It is somewhere in your cfg, though, and hopefully it is set to 1. If not, FS is not using lower LOD models everywhere in sim - displaying every poly in every model. As it struggles (and fails) to hit your framerate lock of 49 fps, it is forced to reduce mipmap and terrain detail radius to try to hit that number. You Might get better clarity or more consistant textures with auto_lod=1. Of course, if it already =1, then I'm at a loss... If there are random typos, know that I am posting from my phone...
