Flytampa KSEA for FSX

Featured Replies

. Add the following line to each addon section in the dll.xml file to each addon you don't always use for every flight (Mostly aircraft addons)

Hmmmm interesting thought. I only fly addons so is there any way to disable the default FSX aircraft? Do you save on VAS by disabling them cause I never use them?

If by disable you mean prevent them from showing up in the aircraft selection screen, just rename the panel.cfg to something like panel.cfg.off, or rename the panel folder. FSX looks for aircraft with an existing panel.cfg in its panel folder, and displays all those in the selection screen.

You could also try renaming the aircraft.cfg, but be aware that this will a) remove all AI traffic eventually assigned to the default aircraft (rather unlikel that this is the case, but still) and b) will make them unusable for FSX missions.

The default aircraft doesn't use dll's  so I don't think you would save VAS by disabling them. Their gauges load when the aircraft is loaded.

Thanks
